I enjoy watching the TV show Alaska The Last Frontier. If you didn’t know, the singer Jewel is the daughter of Atz Kilcher who is a member of that homesteading family. Here is Jewel singing Simple Gifts as a treat for Thanksgiving.

It’s that time of year again. The weather is getting colder, the leaves are almost gone and, at least in this area, the first snow has fallen. Winter has come and with it, the holiday season begins with Thanksgiving. So….Happy Thanksgiving 2018!
